College & Counseling

Making Jesus Known & Loved

The Counseling Department serves a vital role in helping our students realize their full potential. Our professional staff, along with our library and media specialists, ensure that our students have access to all the latest tools and resources available to plan and prepare for their career goals.

It all begins with assisting students during their adjustment to high school and helping them develop the skills and strategies necessary for academic success. Students are encouraged to make quality decisions that are responsible and just. Our counselors are trained to monitor and evaluate the abilities, interests, skills, and performance of students at each grade level.

The connected departments also further the school’s mission "to prepare students for higher education and their continuous challenge of harmonizing faith, culture, and life", by arranging special guest speakers on various topics ranging from academic to vocational and social issues, and by organizing programs geared to high school adjustment, peer relationships, standardized testing, college orientation, and drug and alcohol awareness.
