Columbus Golf Season Tees Off with a Strong Start
The Columbus Golf team kicked off their season with an impressive performance at one of the longest-standing local tournaments held yesterday at the Biltmore Golf Course.
Competing against 14 teams, the Explorers secured a solid 3rd-place finish to begin the season on a high note.
Despite facing three 45-minute lightning and rain delays, along with challenging winds from the back tees, our team showed remarkable resilience and determination throughout the day.
Leading the way for Columbus were:
- Nick Rousseau (Senior): Shot a 77
- Eduardo Perez: Shot a 78
- Carl Tegel: Shot a 78
Next up, the team will be heading to Scottsdale this afternoon to compete in the PING National High School Invitational, and the excitement is palpable!
