Golf Team Finishes Top Ten at PING National Golf Invitational
Our Columbus Golf Team had an outstanding performance at the prestigious PING National Golf Invitational, securing a 10th-place finish out of 20 elite teams.
Competing against top-tier talent from golf powerhouses like Texas, Utah, Florida, Nevada, and Arizona, the Explorers proudly ranked 2nd among Florida teams.
Sophomore Hector Perez Sainz led the team with a remarkable 18th-place finish out of 110 golfers. On the challenging Raptor course at Grayhawk, junior Joseph Fernandez shined on day two, shooting a 2-over-par 74 and placing 37th overall individually.
