Lopez '16 Makes History at Yale Law School

Congratulations to Noah Lopez '16 on receiving his law degree from Yale Law School this week!

Noah's achievement is truly historic, as he is believed to be the first student from CCHS to graduate from Yale Law. During his time at Columbus, Noah was renowned as one of the country's leading debaters and was honored with the Silver Knight award in Speech. He also graduated from Johns Hopkins University.

At Yale Law School, Noah distinguished himself as a member of The Yale Law Journal, a prestigious student-run law review with a legacy of alumni serving at all levels of the federal judiciary, including Supreme Court justices. The journal is widely recognized as one of the most cited legal publications in the United States.

Noah's journey continues as he prepares to clerk for Federal Judge Benjamin Beaton of the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky this fall.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Noah and his family on this remarkable achievement!
