In the 2008 National Merit Scholarship Program

Br. Michael Brady, Principal of Christopher Columbus High School, has announced that seniors Adam Alvarez, Emilio Sola, and Enrique Viciana have qualified as -finalists in the 2008 National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships which receives about 1.4 million entrants each year. High school students enter the program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
