Coach Merritt - Coached Team USA to a Victory Over the World

Columbus' own head football coach, Chris Merritt was the head football coach for Team USA when they played The World Team on January 30, 2010 at Lockhart Stadium and won with a score of 17 - 0. The team was made up of 45 of the country's top high school senior football players. CCHS seniors Jakhari Gore and Tommy Heffernan played in the game and performed well.
