The Christopher Columbus News Network (CCNN) is a student run broadcast news program. With a new studio, complete with a green screen, teleprompter, several cameras and a tri-caster, the students involved perfect their writing and multi-media skills. They also gain experience producing a live television broadcast, writing and reporting. CCNN reports the news everyday, covering topics from school and national news, to features, entertainment and sports. The crew achieves all this while staying true to Columbus students, by keeping them informed with verbal announcements and a daily live streaming ticker. Important everyday information, such as weather and the school lunch menu are streamed on a daily basis, while keeping a focus on humor, with daily YouTube video clips. The broadcast is moderated by Mr. Omar Delgado and Mrs. Christina Hidalgo.
